Ahead of ‘Tadap’ release, Ahan Shetty and Tara Sutaria perform Ganga aarti in Varanasi – See pic – Times of India

Suniel Shetty’s son is all geared up to make his big Bollywood debut with Milan Luthria’s ‘Tadap’ co-starring Tara Sutaria. Ahead of the release of the film next month, the onscreen couple performed Ganga aarti in Varanasi recently.

Check out the picture here:

In the photo, Ahan and Tara are seen holding an aarti ki thali in their hands as they take instructions from a pandit who is standing along with them. While Ahan looked dashing as ever in his black and white traditional attire, Tara looked gorgeous in a salwar kameez with a dupatta and heavy jewellery.

Earlier, in an interview with Zoom Digital, Ahan had opened up about his physical transformation for the film. He said, “So the physical training was a difficult part. Because I had to put on 11kg for the film. I had a very hard time doing it. I could eat whatever I wanted. I was having 11 to 12 meals a day. Sometimes, I would be eating lunch and my next meal would come when I was not even finished with lunch. That was quite difficult to do. Milan (Luthria) sir wanted that physicality for that character.”

In the same interview, Tara spoke about what it was really like to shoot those kissing scenes. “I think it is important to be comfortable on any set, in which you have stuff like this. It is very important to feel comfortable with the director and your co-actor. And it was very comfortable between me and Ahan. There was no discomfort,” she assured.

The film is all set to hit the theatres on December 3, 2021.
